One-year
limited warranty.

For one year from the day your piece is delivered, we warrant it against defects in our workmanship under normal indoor use: a joint that separates, a door, drawer or hinge we installed that stops working properly, or a finish we applied that peels, flakes or bubbles.

The original buyer of a piece bought directly from Farmhouse Urban Design, on this site or in our Etsy shop, and delivered in the United States. It doesn’t transfer to anyone the piece is later sold or given to.

If a covered defect shows up, we’ll repair it, send you a replacement part, or rebuild the piece. We decide which fix suits the problem, and we pay for the parts, the work and shipping them to you. If none of those is practical, we’ll refund what you paid for the piece.

A repair or replacement doesn’t restart or extend the one-year period.

• The natural character of solid wood: knots, grain and color that vary from board to board, dents and scratches (pine is a softwood), color that changes with light and age, and boards that move with the seasons, including hairline gaps that open and close.
• Water damage, whether from standing water, a leak or a raw piece that wasn’t sealed, and damage from heat, direct sun, or very high or very low humidity.
• Outdoor use.
• Accidents, misuse, overloading, pets, and damage from moving the piece after delivery.
• Installation: how the piece is mounted, leveled or anchored, and the wall or floor it’s fixed to. Tall pieces must be anchored to the wall.
• Changes or repairs made by anyone other than us.
• Anything we didn’t make or supply, such as sinks, tops, faucets and plumbing, or hardware and materials you provided.
• Fit, when the piece was built to measurements or a design you gave us or approved.
• Damage in shipping. That’s covered by the shipping insurance instead: photograph it before you unpack any further and tell us within 3 days of delivery.
• Normal wear over time.

Email farmhouseurbandesign@gmail.com before the year is up, with your order number, what’s wrong, and photos. We may ask for more photos or a short video. Please don’t repair the piece or take it apart first.

If we need the piece or a part back to look at, we’ll arrange that shipping and pay for it.

This is a limited warranty. Any implied warranties, including the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, last only as long as this one-year warranty. We aren’t responsible for incidental or consequential damages, such as the cost of installing or removing a piece, or damage to other property.

Some states don’t allow limits on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so these limits may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
