gets made.
Ordering a custom piece sounds complicated. Mostly, it’s a conversation about measurements.

Four steps
- 01
Tell us about the space
Send photos and rough measurements: width, depth and height, plus anything the piece has to fit around, like pipes, a baseboard, a window sill or a sink you already bought.
You don’t need a drawing. A phone photo and three numbers is enough to start, or set the size on any piece’s drawing and send that.

Get a written quote
You’ll get a price for your dimensions, finish and hardware, with the lead time, and shipping to your door in the lower 48 states included. Custom work is half down, and the other half before it ships.
There’s no obligation, and we won’t chase you about it.

We build it
Before we start, we’ll confirm the final dimensions with you, then build to those numbers, one piece at a time.
Standard sizes are ready to ship in the time shown with their price: shelves in 5–7 days in any finish, vanities in 5–7 days raw or 1–2 weeks stained or painted. A custom piece’s lead time comes with its quote, and if yours will take longer, we’ll tell you before you order.

Shipped directly to your door from Flushing, Michigan.
In Michigan, we can arrange local pickup or delivery instead.
Pricing
What drives the price.
Size
More wood and more hours. A 36″ vanity costs more than a 20″ one.
Finish
Raw wood costs least; paint and stain with polyurethane take more time. On the vessel sink vanity, that’s the difference between $609 and $759 for the 24″ size.
Doors and drawers
Each one is another part to build, fit and hang.
Shipping
Included. Shipping to your door in the lower 48 states is part of the price or the quote, not added on top.
Quotes are free, and you’ll hear back within 24 hours, usually within an hour or two.
The wood
About the wood.
It’s a softwood
Pine dents and wears with use, and that’s part of how it ages. Knots and grain vary from board to board, so no two pieces look exactly like the photos.
It moves with the seasons
Solid wood takes on and gives up moisture. The boards in a planked top can open a hairline gap in dry winter air and close again in summer. That’s normal.
Stain looks different on pine
A color on a store swatch won’t look quite the same on pine. If you’re matching something, send a photo and we’ll tell you how close we can get.
Caring for it
Wipe up standing water, especially around a sink. Clean with a damp cloth and mild soap, and skip abrasive cleaners. A raw-wood piece should be sealed before it goes into a bathroom.
FAQ
- What wood do you use?
- Pine, oak, maple and hickory. Most pieces are pine. Tell us which wood you’d like when you order or ask for a quote.
- Can you match a stain I already have?
- Send a photo taken in daylight, or a sample if you have one, and we’ll tell you how close we can get.
- How accurate do my measurements need to be?
- For a quote, within an inch is fine. We’ll confirm exact numbers with you before the build starts.
- Is the sink included with a vanity?
- No. Tell us which sink you plan to use so we can size the cabinet around it, or ask and we’ll help you choose one.
- Do you ship outside the US?
- Not at the moment.
- What if it arrives damaged?
- Every order is insured for its full value. Photograph it before you unpack any further and get in touch, and we’ll work it out with the carrier and with you.
- Can I cancel or return a piece?
- You can cancel within 24 hours of ordering. Because every piece is built to your size, we can’t take returns or exchanges, so if you’re unsure about a measurement, ask before you order and we’ll help.
- How do I pay?
- The vanities and shelves can be bought here in any of their standard sizes and finishes, paid in full at checkout. Other sizes are quoted, and custom work is half down, with the other half before it ships.
- Is there a warranty?
- Yes: a one-year limited warranty on our workmanship, for the original buyer. It covers joints, doors, drawers and finishes we made. It doesn’t cover the natural character of pine, water damage or installation. The full terms are on the Warranty page.
